The purpose of an excavator is to dig up materials and load them onto heavy-duty dump trucks. Typically, positioned at the rear truck when loading. In order automate this process, paper proposes a system that employs combined stereo camera two LiDAR sensors determine three-dimensional (3D) position truck’s cargo box analyze its loading space. Sparse depth information acquired from used detect points on door establish plane side.
